On Playing Clarice Strozzi
Some characters arrive loudly.
Clarice did not.
She entered quietly — composed, observant, already aware of more than she says.
She lives in a world shaped by power — political, spiritual, familial — but what drew me to her wasn’t influence. It was restraint. The discipline of someone raised to understand that words cost something.
She doesn’t rush.
She doesn’t plead.
She doesn’t need to prove she’s intelligent.
She already knows she is.
Working on Clarice has been less about intensity and more about stillness. About holding tension in the body without releasing it. About listening so closely that silence becomes active.
There’s something deeply compelling about a woman who understands the game being played around her — and chooses when to move.
She doesn’t chase power.
She studies it.
There’s risk in that world. There’s calculation. There’s consequence. But she carries it with a steadiness that feels almost modern — a reminder that composure can be its own form of authority.
I’m learning a lot from her.
About patience, precision, what it means to stand beside power and remain entirely yourself.
And that, to me, is where real strength lives.

Wonderful actress, with very expressive eyes and a smile to match. Her voice was the correct inflection all different type of emotions. She could probably acting and directing along with using the camera to narrate a story from what. She has the type of personality the camera loves.
Charli is one of this most amazing Women I’ve ever had the honor of knowing and calling my friend! Not only is she a fantastic actress but an astounding writer, editor and producer as well! On a personal level she never ceases to amaze me with all she is able to take on and balance in a work/home life way. When she sets her mind to something you can best bet that nothing is going to keep her from accomplishing her goals. And that is something that blows me away every time I see her do it!
